The Virginia Tech Shooter

...was taken to exorcists by his mother, instead of psychiatrists. I just learned this today, and I'm utterly amazed at how little this fact was covered by the national media.

Who knows what might have happened differently? And yet professional exorcist (really!) Paul Davis thinks that even after 32 people were killed, exorcism was still the best option.

The most likely objection from Christians is (of course) that only a small fringe believes in exorcism. Even if that were true, please tell the students at Virginia Tech that everything is fine, since it was only a small fringe that kept Seung Hui Cho from getting real medical attention. As long as people choose to be apologists for this kind of ignorance, it will keep happening.
