Walking (Running) On Water as Sport

Totally nice, with video. It looks pretty neat, but I'm trying to figure out how you can tell from the video whether it's real. If so, then this activity is no longer just the province of lizards and heretical Jewish mystics! I can see this in the Olympics.

The first clue in the video that it's fake is the part where people are walking on water.

More seriously the camera angle is always low enough to obscure seeing anything just under the surface that they would be running on. Remember those old car commercials that had cars driving across water? A second clue is the "Hi-Tek" logo on every other hat, sweatshirt, wetsuit, and the shoes.

The big surprise is that major media didn't cover this as news before figuring out that it's fake.

The more I thought about it the more I tend to agree. They could put a moveable platform just under the surface. What's the deal with the Hi-Tek logo?
