Forty Tales From The Afterlives: The Best Book I Read in 2010

The verb in the title of this post is in the past tense. If I enjoy a book more the rest of this year, I will happily eat my words, though I don't anticipate this will happen. Sum: Forty Tales from the Afterlives, by David Eagleman is an amazingly inventive work of alternative theology consisting of a few dozen thought experiments how it might work. On finishing it I said out loud "I have not been made this happy by a book for a long time."
