Check Out the Article for Creationism on Uncyclopeia

Here it is. What's funny is it appears to advance the creationist program largely in total sincerity.

I don't know if this was done by sane people to make a sarcastic point, or by creationists who didn't realize how it would look to go out of your way to make sure your ideas were accurately portrayed - on Uncyclopedia.

If you think for a moment that that that page is sincere, then go directly to bed and sleep at least eight hours of God's time. Then after fully awakening, go back and read the sidebar to the Witness Testimony section.

The page is so beautiful, it makes me cry.

You, on the other hand, make me cry.

It's difficult to parody something that's already batshit insane. At a certain point, you move from mockery to propagation.

I dunno... it doesn't seem to be serious. It looks to be mostly "accurate", but there are bits in there that have to be poking fun of the actual idea:
* The image of George Bush (with the "halo") going after the "unsuspecting" Iraqis
* The footnote about holding back the light of rainbows
* "Geodesic" evidence?

Guys - if you spend any time at all on Uncyclopedia, you will see that by comparison, the creationism article is a sea of seriousness. If you compare it to Wikipedia, no, it's obviously a goof-job. But the fact that in this article there are even single sentences that maintain a serious tone from start to finish is what jumps out.

Grego: though it shouldn't be regarded as much of an accomplishment to make you cry, it pleases me nonetheless.
